In less than a decade, Citadel Execution Services (CES) has become a leading equity market maker and options smart router for retail broker-dealers1, executing approximately 7 percent of U.S. listed equity option volume and 4 percent of U.S. equity volume.

We are a strategic investor in U.S. and pan-European exchanges. In the U.S., we are an equity market maker in approximately 7,700 NASDAQ, NYSE, NYSE Arca, and NYSE Alternext securities.  In addition, we route orders in nearly every U.S.-listed equity and index options to all nine U.S. options exchanges.

In Europe, where our aim is to replicate the success of our U.S. execution business, we are already a leading liquidity provider and market maker in European securities, providing bespoke execution services for retail brokers and broker dealers. As a member of all major European primary exchanges and MTFs, we act as a gateway to Europe’s equity markets by routing and executing a significant share of pan-European volumes traded daily.

We continue to drive trading innovation and, over the next year, we intend to build out our automated offerings for other products and asset classes.  Our goal is to be the #1 global liquidity provider for clients.
